The beginning of the story follows our three musketeers. Elliot, Octavia and of course, Mimi.
We follow them through the slice-of-life affair in high school, in the down under city of Sydney, when suddenly an unexpected turn had occurred. A zombie apocalypse breaks out in the world and strikes the protagonists unexpectedly.
They have to fight for their survival and desperately choose who to trust throughout their journey. Other acquaintances help and follow them as the book progresses, many betrayals and villains over the course of the plot.
The end of the book comes and goes as they remain after the hectic years of the virus constantly evolving and mutating into new variants. Everyone is barely surviving, resources scarce across the globe, cures immediately being shut down by the multiple heads that attack quickly.
Them being distant and in the wild for so many years, they stumble upon civilization. Once again.
