I enjoyed the time we had yesterday afternoon.
But now, my heart is as empty as these milk bottles. (Please refill: 2 quarts of milk, 1 quart of buttermilk, and 1 pint of cream – Payment on credit.)
Your kisses are as sweet and smooth as French butter, your embrace as heavy as cream.
Oh! How I miss you so! My heart is unsettled like a stomach soured by expired milk. My heart churns for you.
At night, I cannot sleep. I drink warm milk at bedtime, hoping that I will fall into a deep slumber, dreaming sweet dreams of you.
