Seeing White
Hundreds to thousands
and thousands to millions,
of people mingling,
milling about.
Intricate pieces
falling into place.
Lifelines tangling,
intertwined.
Where do I fit into this?
Confusion clouds my mind,
A thick white tarp around my thoughts.
Infinity, eternity, what lays beyond.
Fear of the unknown lays heavy on my shoulders,
my feet dragging along the dirt road.
It's nice to know where you're going,
to be able to look before you leap.
While others feel blue or see red,
All I see is White.
