The Ninja returns to New Ninjago City.
"What happened?" Kai asked looking at the grey and dull city "No power, that's what happened." Cole responded
"Are we too late?" Zane said as they walked forward, They stepped on a tripwire, alerting the civilians.
"Outsiders must answer to the Postman!" A man yelled and everyone glared at the postman who then cried "Return... to... sender!"
The Ninja looked at each other, confused "Ah, you finally made it. Don't mind the savages. Since the power went out, everyone here has grown a bit bored." Cyrus came out and rolled towards the Ninja Their imagination knows no bounds." He sees Pixal "Pixal amazing! You're...powered.
"You need to stay in character, Borg. This is no fun if we're not all committed." The postman hissed as he held a wooden spoon in his hand tapping it on the other
"Oh, I'll have you committed if you don't all leave us at once. Now shoo!" Cyrus said annoyed and the people left. "We have real problems to address. Pixal what's powering you?" He asked
"Zane gave me half of his heart." She answers with a kind expression on her face
"Thank you, Zane. I am greatly indebted. Unfortunately, the hard drive was stolen with the digital imprint of the Overlord. You'll be unable to erase him with your Techno Blades until we find it." Cyrus remarks not-so excitedly
"Aw, don't worry, we already had a little run-in with the crazy tentacle lady and red-handed suspect. Or, should I say white-handed?" He pulls out the clue "He left behind a white scale. Get this, he's Serpentine." Jay exclaimed
Cole opens a manhole "Lucky for us, the last Serpentine were sealed within a tomb right under the city, so it's about time we pay them a little visit."
"Approach with caution. I've also lost a few valuable prototypes. He may be armed and extremely dangerous." Cyrus warned
"We know, and uh, ahem, just for the record, when those prototypes are made available to the public, could you let me know? They're just the coolest gadgets" Jay said before going into the Manhole, Zane allowed Pixal to enter the manhole before him. but Cyrus stopped her
"Uh, Pixl where are you going? Now that my assistant has an unlimited power supply, there's an infinite amount of good to be done." He said, Zane, nodded at Pixal "As you wish, Mr. Borg"The ninja went in as P.I.X.A.L. and Cyrus left.
"Watch your step, Nya. We don't know the last time this ladder was used." Cole said
"That's thoughtful of you, Cole." Nya says with a small smile, "Hey! How about you watch where you're watching, Cole? Huh?" Jay snapped
Kai Facepalms "Here we go again"
"Uh, aah!" Nya cried as the rung she stepped on broke. "Uh, guys. A little help?" She asked
"Oh, is that a threat? 'Cause coming from you, it sounds like some of your best material." Cole glared at Jay, "Hahaha! There's a reason nobody liked you." Jay said Back
"Nya likes me," Cole said and a small smirk came on his face
"Just because your her perfect match," Jay said then dropped his voice "Doesn't mean your her boyfriend!!"
"Or does it?" Cole asked and his smirked is getting bigger
"Help!!!" Nya cried and Cole jumped down the ladder and caught her before she hit the ground.
"Got ya," He says
"T-thanks," Nya says flustered, Jay jumped down as Cole put Nya down
Jay jumped down"YOU STUPID MOTHERF-" Zane cut Jay off his sentence "Let's keep our eyes peeled. Our mystery suspect could be anywhere down here.
