Percy's POV
After a long day of training, I went back to my cabin to get some much needed sleep. I have a gnawing feeling in my gut that something bad is going to happen tonight, but I figured that was a problem for later Percy. Now Percy wanted to sleep, so that's exactly what I did. I collapsed into my bed and fell into a deep sleep.

~Dream~

I was sitting on Montawk beach looking out at the sea. It was a normal day, or as normal as a demigod life gets. Sitting there with my domain felt right. Like nothing bad could every happen. Except thats the exact opposite of what reality had to offer.

All of a sudden, I heard footsteps in the sand behind him. I turned around and exhale as I'm met with solid gold eyes. I scrambled to my feet and took a step back in fear of what this may mean. Kronos makes no move towards me instead he just stands there.

We stare at each other for a hot minute, and he doesn't do anything. Usually when I have a dream like this they try to kill me, but he's just standing there. Very highly suspicious if you ask me. I put my sword down and look at him suspiciously. Then it hits me. This man is supposed to be dead. Maybe that's something to point out.

"Your supposed to be dead." I say

"Not dead. Just... in pieces." Kronos answers

"Right. Then how do you have a body?" I ask

"I don't. I'm manipulating your dreams. Can one not give himself a body?" He answers sassily

"Fair enough. What do you want from me?" I ask

"I'm fading, Perseus. When a being fades, their domains become unstable. Usually other gods can counter the effects of that, but mine are too powerful. I believe that you are the only person capable of wielding my powers." He says

"You want to give me your powers? Why not let them go haywire. It'll destroy the world just as you wanted." I say

"I didn't want to destroy the world. I wanted my throne back. The Olympians wouldn't give it to me, so I opted to kill them." He says

"Like that's better." I say "If I do accept your powers, what that mean for me?"

"You will have complete power over time. You will be able to start and stop it at your will and go backwards or forwards if you'd like. Only catch is you'll have to deal with me I your head until you learn how to control it." He answers

"And what happens when the gods find out. They'll kill me for having you in me." I say

"Please refrain from saying like that, but they won't find out. You won't let them find out. You will only use the powers when absolutely necessary." He says

"Right. How am I supposed to train my powers if I can't use them?" I ask

"We will do it here. You still learn what happens in a dream. You demigods have some interesting things going on in your heads." He answers

I turn around and think for a moment. This could very easily go wrong and I recognizes that, but something about his domains going haywire doesn't seem to good. I come to the conclusion that there really isn't a choice here. I'm is forced to take on the powers. Either that or the space time continuum burns into ash and dust. That might be a tad bit dramatic.

How will my friends react when they find out? Most of them lived through the battle of manhattan, so they know what Kronos is capable of. Then again they won't have an opinion to form if I don't take on the powers. If I do, none of my friends will trust me after the fact, and I don't know if I can handle that. But they won't be alive if I don't. Really, I have no choice so I turn back around to face Kronos. With one last deep breath, I meet Kronos' eyes and say:

"Deal."

Hola bitches!
It's yours truly here with another book just for you. Since you all liked my last one so much I thought I would write another one. Sure I've been trying to come up with ideas since I finished the last one, and this one is the only one to stick. I'm loving how it's going so far, and I hope you all like it too.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
