OCTOBER ARRIVES quicker than Lyra would like. Her first month back at Hogwarts flew by and it was already her very first Hogsmeade trip.
She and Harper are beyond excited as Lee and the twins have not shut up about the village and the pranks shop there. Last year the girls were extremely jealous that their friends got to go on the trip so to make them feel better, the boys shared their sweets they bought from Honeydukes with them. Now that they get to actually enter Hogsmeade, both Harper and Lyra want to visit different places.
Students form a messy line to hand over their permission slips to Filch and McGonagall. The ground is covered wirh red and orange leaves that crunched under the weight of everyone's boots. There is a gentle chill in the air but the sun is out and providing them with a fuzzy wamth.
"Where do you reckon we go to first? Should we get a butterbeer and then explore or the opposite?" Harper questions before adjusting the white scarf Lyra lent to her.
Lyra is dressed in light brown trousers and a patterned jumper, a white collared blouse underneath. She layered it with a black jacket for added warmth and wore matching boots. Her hair is loose down her back and three gold colored star shaped pins are preventing some strands from covering her face.
