Ichigo sighed. The cause of his sigh was his classmate and friend, Uryu Ishida, standing up abruptly and dashing out of the class with a weak apology. Their English teacher could only blink in response, before shaking her head and ignoring it. Ishida could afford a few days like this due to him being the top of their year.
The orange haired teen rubbed his face a little. It has been one year since his climatic battle aginst Aizen. The battle came at a cost though. Due to using the Final Getsuga Tenshou, Ichigo had to sacrifice all of his powers and Reiatsu to defeat the deranged ex-captain. Henceforth, and now his life was completely normal, no longer able to see the spirits of the dearly departed.
At first, Ichigo thought this was all he wanted. He hated dealing with some of the eccentric Spirits, especially when they knew he could see them. But Ichigo was now slowly starting to hate this normal life. He wished he could be there with his friends and help defend his hometown. Hell, he even missed his banter between him and his short, raven-haired Shinigami friend, Rukia Kuchiki.
Ichigo sighed once again before staring out at the window not even bothering to listen to the teacher talking as he reminisced about his days as shinigami and how he wish he could go back to those days
After a few hours, the final school bell rung out. Ichigo then lazily stood up and packed his stuff, before slinging his bag over his shoulder. As he headed to the main entrance of the school, he quickly noticed Orihime and Chad

"Yo, Orihime!Chad!" Ichigo yelled out to them which caused them look back and see ichigo waved his hand to which Orihime and Chad returned in kind "Good Afternoon Ichigo how was your Classes today" Orihime cheerfully asked while Chad simply grunted at Ichigo "Eh same old same old, what about you two?"
"Same here nothing much happened" Chad replied which Orihime simply nodded to "I see then so where are you guys going exactly?" Ichigo question which caused Orihime to rub the back of her head as she looked around nerverously trying to not stare at her crush "well me and Chad were going to go to Mr Urahara Shop to see if we could get some training done" at the mere mention of training caused ichigo to frown which both Orihime and Chad quickly noticed and made Orihime quickly panic "uh if you want we could change plans and we can hang out with you for awhile" Orihime quickly responded
