Start of my first tattoo, main objective was to get the base line work down and see how well I tolerated the pain etc etc.
The artist was amazing, and basically drew on most right on my arm. Also explained why he was avoiding certain areas since they'd be more painful and it was my first tattoo.
Have another appointment in a few days to add onto it. Hoping to get the dragon done, but we have plans to possibly add some background details too.
I have lots of scars along this arm due to some work accidents, which is one of the main reasons I wanted something big to wrap around my arm and cover 90% of them.
You can't see most of them in this photo (thank god) and parts are actually already covered up by the tattoo.
Also please excuse how I look in the photo. This is right after so it's a little red and irritated but overall not as bad as I imagined. :)
He also left out the 'feet' on purpose lmao, he's gonna add them the next session
