This night went to complete shit when the lads walked in to our flat, drunk and loud. They knew what I had planned for tonight, and they ruined it by getting drunk and walking in just when I was getting ready to ask her.

"Lads, what are you doing?" I said through gritted teeth, clenching my hands into fist and standing up from the couch.

"What do ya mean Boooobear?" Liam slurred which I was surprised at; he rarely ever got drunk. ever. He was usually the one that made sure every one else didn't drink too much! What was going on here?

"Why are you here?" I asked again, looking over to her and seeing that she was looking at the whole situation, wide eyed and confused.

Niall stepped forward mumbling "I got this one, I got this one." Pushing all the other guys back and clearing his throat multiple times. "We wanted to congratulate you on your engagement." He said, spreading his arms wide and coming at me, wrapping me up in a lazy hug as the rest joined. I looked over at her again, seeing her face had gone bright red and eyes wider than before.

Before we were fully left alone, Harry waved at the doorway, thrusting his hips and pointing at the door, giving a thumbs up and slamming the door after him, making me shake my head.

"Engagement?" She whispered, bringing my attention back.

"Uh, well..." I trailed off, deciding now was just as good as any time, getting down on one knee and pulling the little velvet box out of my pocket. Opening it to the diamond ring that I bought her.

"That was my plan.. but they kinda walked in and ruined it." I laughed, looking up at her and sighing. "Would you do me the honors of becoming my wife?"

She sat there motionless for a minute, before tears sprung from her eyes and she nodded quickly, lunging at me and wrapping her arms around my neck. "Yes, Louis!! Yes!" She squealed, not letting me go.

I giggled, and took the ring out of the box and sliding it up her finger, wrapping my arms around her and picking her up, spinning her around.
