I have just met someone at the bar last week
his name was simon
We talked for hours and i found him interesting
He listened to what i had to say
And I listened to him
we had a great time and we felt like we understand one another
So he asked to me out to dinner on Wednesday
I accepted
he said we will meet up at the restaurant near the bar around 7:00 pm and i agreed just in case something happens
He couldn't give me his number because he said it was for both of our safety
I didn't quite understand but didn't really mind
He didn't really share lots of information of him either
And I didn't really either
Because we've only met once
To be honest i was a little scared
he is pretty scary
Don't even ask how i got the courage to talk to him
he is so big like for what!?
If he tries to kidnap me its over for me i would even try to do anything
But he also seemed so kind and sweet inside
I couldn't see his face but i could tell he has a beautiful smile just by his eyes when they slightly squint
Anyways today im gonna go shopping for something to wear at the date
I don't have the best job so i have been saving up a little
I work at a flower shop and my monthly payment wasn't the best but it was enough for me
I took out the money i've been saving and took 500$
im gonna try to buy an outfit , makeup , shoes and a bag all under 500$
i got a little worried so i took and extra 100$ i didn't want all my savings to go to this date
But my budget was gonna stay at 500$
I put the money back where it was and went to get ready
I put on a simple black dress
And i got my bag it was a very old one i got from the thrift store but it was still kinda pretty and better then nothing
I let my hair down
I got some perfume from my vanity and sprayed some on me
I reached the door to my house but i put on my shoes before i left
i got out and locked the door from outside and put the keys in my bag
I called an uber and i was waiting for it now
After a few minutes it arrived
I got in and told the driver to take me to the mall near by i've never really been in a mall
I know things are expensive there so i din't go there
We got there at around 30 minutes later
I got out the uber and entered the mall
I'm going to look for an outfit first
i went into many shops but I couldn't find anything
i would like some things but they are way too expensive
Either they are 500$ or up
my whole budget was 500$
I realised that im probably nit gonna find any outfits so i went to get some make up and go somewhere else for clothes
i asked where i could find the make up and they said on the 3rd floor so i went there
As i got up i saw the make up store
next to it was a shop that sold fabrics
It looked like a nice vintage shop
I saw a piece of a very pretty black velvet fabric and i though it would look beautiful as a dress
I got the idea to make my own dress
I did have a sewing machine
And i knew how to make a dress
Most of my clothes actually i've made them
I decided to go and ask for the fabric
I entered the shop and saw a man sitting on a chair behind a small desk
I decided to ask him about the fabric
"um excuse me sir" i said in a low voice because i was pretty nervous for some reason
"Yes ma'am how can i help you?" The man looked up and saw as he got up and approached me
"Um how much for a meter of this fabric?" I asked and pointed to the pretty piece of fabric
"That one is 5 dollars for one meter" he said
"oh thank you, um do you know how much meters i would need to make a dress?" I asked him
"Oh you'll need about 2,5 meters" he said
"Are you sure? Im a bit bigger than average" i said
"Yes yes don't worry" he said
"Oh ok thank you , then i'd take 2,5 meters then please" i said to him
"Alright one second" he said as he went to cut me the piece of fabric
While he did that i looked around the other fabrics
I remembered i wanted to have a simple design on the dress
And i thought lace would look beautiful with the dress
I decided to ask the man if he had any
"One more thing sir, do you have any lace that i could put on the dress?" I asked
"Yes we do actually, and if you want i can sew you a dress" he said
"Really? That would be great" i said
"Yep but it might be a little pricy" he said
"How much?" I asked
"It would be around 40$" he said
Thats not bad to be honest for my outfit
"Thats not bad, can you actually make me one?" I said
"Oh but i need it before Wednesday please" i said
"Sure i can make you one but i'm not sure if it would be done by Wednesday" he said
"Awh, please" i said
"Fine, just for you though" he said and winked at me
Uhm ok 💀
I didn't say anything because i didn't want him to change his mind i only smiled
"goodness im sorry about that" he said and i could tell he cringed at himself
I chuckled
"No worries" i said
"Alright im gonna need to measure you ma'am" he said
"And you also need to tell me the details you want" he said
"Alright" i said
After that he measured me and i told him the details
We discussed it for about 30 minutes and
He asked me for my number so he can call to pick up the dress when hes done
i gave him my number and he told me that the dress would most likely be done by midnight if i want it before Wednesday
And i told him thats ok
My total was 65$ that wasn't bad
i payed for everything and left
I went to the make up store
i got in and didn't know what to do
I've never bought make up before except once i got a pink lipstick
I am a little overwhelmed because the store was pretty busy
i just went towards the lipsticks i saw because they are the only things i know how to buy
I saw a very pretty dark red one
it was beautiful
the black packaging with the red lipstick the perfect shade
i took a tester and swiped it on my hand
It was gorgeous
I think it looks really good with my skin colour
i smelled it and it smelled nice
I like this one
i put the tester back and got a new one
i checked the price
40$!?!
For what?!
Goodness
I thought about it and I decided to buy it
I wasn't gonna buy any other make up item other than a mascara
I held the lipstick and looked for mascaras
"Hi there ma'am can i help you with anything?!" Some one said out of nowhere I flinched a little
I turned around and saw a lady
She had a full face of make up and it looked gorgeous
her dark skin with the red lipstick
And her rosy cheeks with sparkles on them
Her skin was flawless
And her lashes were loooong
She looked beautiful
"Hi im just looking for a mascara?" I said
"Oh right this way just come with me i'll show you a few of my favourites" she said
I smiled at her and nodded as she took me
We got there and after about 10 minutes of her showing me the mascaras they had
And she also taught me how to apply it
We were done
I picked the one I liked and the pretty lady took me to check out
I payed and my total was 80$
Damn not even my outfit costed that much but i guess they are worth it
Now im gonna look for some shoes and a bag
they don't really matter that much
I went down to the 2nd floor and went into a shop that had those stuff
I saw a black velvet platform heel
oh no..
It would look perfect with the dress
but i just know its gonna be expensive
you know what? I think im thinking to much about the money
This is my first date ever
why not?
I asked for the price of the shoe and it was 130$
damn-
But i bought them anyway
im looking for a bag now
i went to another store as i got in i saw a small red one
it was pretty and it would give some colour
It would also match the lipstick i got
I asked for it and it was 26$ not bad
I got it and left
phew
Finally im done for today
I spent alot of money but I don't care it's all worth it
i finally feel relaxed
Well not exactly because i have to wait for the dress
But I honestly thought that this would take much longer because im really picky with my style
I called another uber to come take me back home
30 minutes later
Im back home
I went to my room and opened the windows
i put all my new stuff in my closet
I decided to take a shower and come to take a nap
Because im pretty tired
After i took a shower and got into some more comfy clothes I laid in my bed to take a small nap
i started to think of simon
I wonder what hes doing right now..
Is he thinking of me
or is he shopping like i was
I don't know
I couldn't exactly study him
He was very mysterious
i liked that about him
He was also very gentle and sweet
The whole time we talked
I had the urge to hug him and feel his warmth
He seemed very very warm and comforting
He was a few years older than me though..
Eh who cares
i wonder if it would work out and we get married
That would be nice
Maybe we would have children together
I've always wanted to be a mother to a little girl
you know dress her up and do her hair
make her my friend
i would love that
I wonder if he likes kids though
He seems like the type that doesn't
I don't know
I kept on thinking of other stuff and slowly fell asleep
