Dear whoever,

I know I'm different. I'm not like you, nor like anybody else. For a long time I hated that. I just wanted to be normal, but then I realised no one's normal. We all have our flaws, we all have things we don't like about ourselves. We sometimes even hate the way we are, wishing we were someone else, 'cause their lives seem so perfect. But the perfect life is just an illusion, it doesn't exist. We all have our ups and downs, we all have problems, a past we want to forget about, even if our pasts were great. We have to leave our pasts behind, move on, look forward to the future. We have to stop comparing ourselves to others, 'cause it won't make us different people, it will just make us feel worse. They say no one's perfect, but I don't agree with that. I think we're all perfect, we're all beautiful in our own way. We should accept ourselves the way we are, 'cause we're unique. We're all different, but we should be proud of that, proud of the fact that we're not all the same. And even if you feel different from everyone, lonely, not good enough, ugly, worthless, misunderstood, a freak, sad, replacable, then remember we've all felt like this at least once in our lives. 'Cause despite that we're all different, we have this in common. We all have feelings... we're all human..
