Niall POV
"Boys. I'm not going on this blind date" I told the guys
The band and I are at my house and they are trying to get me on this blind date today. I looked at the picture of the girl and she is pretty. Apparently, she is 25 years old and she loves to take pictures. She's a photographer and apparently a good one according to Jake. Jake knows her from a friend and apparently, this girl's name is Katie and she hasn't had a boyfriend. She's a shy girl also.
"Come on. You haven't gone on a date since you broke up with Haliee" Conor said
"Yeah and all you do is watch golf and drink beer. You need to get out there. You need to date people" Jake said
"Also, we all know you're on writer's block" Alex said
"Hey. I'm not on writer's block" I defended
Okay maybe I have writer's block. I haven't written an album in three years. Since COVID hit I did write something but after I didn't write anything. It's been 3 years since my Heartbreak Weather album I got a lot of love from the fans liking the music. I want to write more but I have no inspiration. Maybe this blind might not be bad after all.
"Yes you do. You haven't written a song since begging of COVID. Come on do it for us. She's a pretty girl. Isn't she?" Louis said as he showed me her picture again
"You guys aren't going to let this down. Aren't you?" I asked them as I crossed my arms
"Nope" Jake smirked
"Fine. I will go on this date. When is it?" I asked and they cheered like lunatics. Sometimes I wonder how these boys became my bandmates and let alone my best friends.
Katie POV
"Come on Megan. I'm not going on this blind date" I said
Megan and I are doing some grocery shopping because we have no food at the house. Megan is trying to go on a blind date with this guy but I don't want to. I never had a boyfriend before. What if when I do? Will I ruin our relationship? Will I be a bad girlfriend for this guy? and most importantly will I be a bad kisser for this guy? I never kissed any guy before. If this guy wants to kiss me or I want to kiss him. This will be my first kiss.
"Yes you are. Please for me. Look at me I have Chase. If you get a boyfriend that means we can go on double dates" she said
"Megan, when you said I need to go on this blind date. I had these million questions going around my brain. What if I don't be a good girlfriend? Or what if we just date for a few months and that's it?" I asked as I put some grapes in our cart
"You won't be a bad girlfriend. I know that for sure. You will be the best girlfriend for this man. Please go on this date. I really need a double date buddy. Please" she begged and I sighed
"You're not going to let this down. Are you?" I asked her
"Nope. Please and Jake said he is a nice guy" she said
Jake is one of Chase's best friends. That's how Megan knows this guy but they won't tell me the name yet. They think I will freak out and I don't get how and why.
"Fine. I'll go on this date. When is it?" I asked her and she squealed as we went to the cash register while everyone was staring at us as if we had 5 heads or something.
"This Saturday at The Daphne's" she said as she paid for our grocery items and we headed out of the store
"Megan, you know that's the most expensive restaurant in London. You know I have to dress up for this" I told her as we came to her car
"I know. That's why we take these stuff back to the house and then we go dress shopping for you" she said
"Really? You will do that for me?" I asked as I put the grocery item in the car.
"Yes I will. You're my best friend Katie and you're like my sister. I'll do anything for you" she said and I smiled
"Thanks Megan" I told her
"You're welcome. Now let's go shopping" she said and headed in the car
"By the way. You still not telling me who's this guy going to be?" I asked her
"Nope. Like I said before you might freak out when you see him" she said
"Can I please get a hint?" I asked her
"Nope. Sorry" she said
I groaned but didn't ask further questions. Once we came home we put the grocery items at the house and then went back to the car to go shopping. I just hope this date goes well.
