*Vaishnavi's POV*

After Tanisha left I called Aayush, my best friend. He called me earlier.

After finishing talking with him I turned to call Didi as dadi-sa just messaged calling us to one of the rooms in which they were. And she was still talking to Shree Didi, our cousin.

"Didi, let's go dadi is calling us. You talk on your way there."

No response. Still talking on the phone. Laughing. But not paying any heed to my words, this is not done.

"I. Am. Going. Suit yourself. And don't call to find in which room we are." I told in an irritated tone feeling hurt. How can she? Not done at all. Is a cousin more important than a real sister? WHATEVER. I don't want to ruin my mood because of someone who is not even listening.

As turned to walk away and I felt someone hugging my left arm and I knew it was Didi.

I smiled and all my anger just flew away.

"Where is Tanisha? She was here when I went to get the call." She asked out of the blue.

"She went saying that it was time for her to go. Maybe she remembered something."

"Oh! By the way, why were you so irritated suddenly when she first came to us and you were not even talking." she was looking at me with so much curiosity at I felt like laughing.

" I don't know. It just didn't feel good being around her. It all got suffocating that's why I wasn't talking." I didn't tell her the part of the talk I did with her when she was on the phone.

We were walking through the passage which led us to the chamber in which we were called. We stood in front of the large door, one guard guarding on either side with a gun in their hands. And one person who looked like an announcer who was only present on special occasions, as much as I know.

One of the guards got inside and asked for permission, even though he knew that we were called by the people inside. His duty. He came out and gestured for us to go inside while bowing.

We got inside and the first thing we saw was that everyone was gathered including our cousins from the paternal side. I could sense the tension and seriousness in the atmosphere and I knew that Didi could also as she straightened herself.

"Come sit. We have something to tell all three of you." Dada-sa said and I saw Rohan already sitting beside Deepansh bhaiya, son of Karthik Chacha-sa.

We both sat across Hardik bhaiya and Jasi didi. Dada-sa first told what the elder siblings had to do or what their work was. And finally, our turn came.

"All three of you. Rohan, Anushka, and Vaishnavi have got a scholarship to the top school in Mumbai. And I suggest Aditya and Diksha also leave with them. I know that the sister of Diksha lives there but some business issues are going on there and I need someone from the family to check on that. And there I already bought a property years ago, a mansion. It is going under repair and will be done before you reach there. Mr Vaisal is already there to tell you about the place and the locations nearby." Dada-sa stated in a voice that said you-will-have-to-follow-the-order.

There was complete silence for entire 5 seconds which was eating me from the inside in this tense situation.

"Okay, papaji. I will take care of everything there. And report to you." Daddy said and I saw Didi on the verge to cry. Rohan was also becoming a bit emotional and here I was all fine no sorrow to leave the family members. But I was sad to leave this place, my hometown, Jodhpur.

"Vaishnavi, Anushka, and Rohan will also have their personal bodyguards. Our rivals have their eyes on you to threaten us. Be careful and behave there well." This time this was dadi-sa to talk and her voice was stern as always.

I knew what she meant by the "Behave" word. Okay. I will follow her words. And make two of them also follow.

We all left for home after having dinner there only. I sat in the fourth car that departed. My uncle, Kartik was driving the car and both of his children were there along with me and aunt.

I pulled my airdrops out of my pocket and listened to music at a volume that won't hurt my ear functioning and anyone won't be able to disturb my lyric in between.

Just after doing that, I leaned back in my seat got comfortable, and closed my eyes to relax. The drive will be long as traffic is there and that's somehow odd.

Just when I was getting the feel of the pop song, my uncle pushed the brakes and my face just got saved from getting crashed into the back of the seat in front of me. That was close.

I took air dopes out of my right ear and asked him about what happened and he also didn't about it. I was thinking wrong and KNOCK! KNOCK! I got scared by the sudden sound as the air dope was still dancing in between my fingers and I was the one to make them dance.

I turned to look out the window to find a woman in a black suit (an Indian suit for women) with designs on it with golden-coloured thread. Her highlighted dark brown hair was done perfectly curly which fell to her waist. I rolled the window down and her face came clearly into my view. She was beautiful.

"How can I help you, miss?" I asked her seeing her scratching her index finger with her thumbnail.

"I came here to ask you which song you are listening to. If you don't want to tell, it's fine. I saw that your car suddenly stopped, my brother, is helping repair it." She said with a calm voice but still a bit nervous.

"No Lie. I am listening to Dua Lipa's song No Lie."

"Oh! It's a nice song."

"Yeah! Thanks for the help." I gave her a soft genuine smile and my song changed.

She waved to me and I waved back and it felt nice to tell her the song. I always love sharing the name of my favourite songs. But why would anyone ask about that? I shrugged the thought aside.

I rolled the window up and sat back in the same position. Most comfortable position to sit in for me. I looked when Uncle again keyed the car and the engine roared to life. We showed our gratitude and the mansion was still 15 minutes away. But I got my songs.
