As I tried to act as casual as I could, to pretend that I don't know these people, the older man who clearly didn't like the idea of me serving them glared at me freely. For me, I find that it's one thing to glare at someone when they Aren't looking, but to do it like this, 'freely' in front of everyone is very uncomforting. I cleared my throat and looked down at my small feet. Megan nudged me in the ribs, pretty hard may I add, then smiled at me with a gesture towards the guests.

"So, I have some rose and someone ordered the 1987 bottle, in just not sure who..." Megan trailed.

Inside, I felt like shouting at her. How could she not know who ordered what when 'she' was the one who wanted to be their waitress. And if she really wanted them to have the best of our restaurant, she should have just left it to other people to sort out.

"I'll try some of that rose please madam" the man who clearly didn't like me spoke, with a smile aimed towards Megan.

"Certainly Mr Garcia" she giggled.

He laughed at her and then watched for a moment as she poured the drink.

"Son, this ones a keeper" Mr Garcia spoke.

The older man and woman opposite him laughed, the two blonde girls sitting together rolled their eyes whereas the one who I'd met earlier looked at the young man with a worried expression.

"why don't you get her details and I don't know, have dinn-"

"Father" The young man snapped before his 'father' could continue.I was certain that it was the bus ticket man, the deep masculine yet soft voice, he has a calm voice with a slow clear high class British accent.

"Enough!. You 'will' Take Her Details" Mr Garcia ordered.

The table fell silent and the awkward atmosphere was spreading through. Even Megan was shifting from one foot to another while contemplating on what to say. I realised that i'd been standing in the same place as I'd come in and it was about time I did my job and got out if there un noticed.

I cleared my throat subconsciously and all heads turned to me. The young lady I'd met earlier smiled and me, I lowered my eyes, afraid to make eye contact.

"Excuse me" the lady spoke, her familiar American accent caching my attention.

"Yes ma'am?" I answered, my voice slow and calm, and it seemed to have caught a certain someone's attention.

"May I try some of that wine and..." She paused and looked over to her left at the bus ticket man, who seemed to have recovered from the surprise of hearing my voice. "Darlton, would you like to try some also?"

He blinked a few times and then swiftly nodded once "I'll try some"

I wondered why he had not acted like he knew me earlier on, he had only looked at me blankly then, but now, he seems to know exactly who I am.

"Me too!" One of the pretty blonde girls sitting opposite darlton smiled tightly, her eyes focused on Darlton who was clearly not interested.

"I don't think so darling." The older looking lady who I'm assuming to be the mother of the two blonde girls commented "none for them please"

"Oh, alright" I smiled at the polite lady.

She laughed "believe it or not, they've only just turned 16" the lady laughed once again. My eyebrows rose (I'm sure). And the lady seeing my expression nodded.

The man sitting next to the older lady stopped his conversation with Mr Garcia and turned to his wife.

"Darling, leave her to do her job, people are waiting to order" the mans voice was firm and decisive.
