Theme Song: Una Mattina
December 1939
Dear Diary,
I still remember the piercing cold air on my skin, the priciling texture of the scarf around my neck and my cold hands rubbing against each other whilst walking out of the university entrance.
It was January 1st 1939 when the first snowflake fell upon my hair. Mother always told me, when the nightly sky is covered by a burgundy dust, it is the sky calling upon a snow storm. Maybe Mother wasn't talking about a snow storm, maybe it was the storm of love announcing his arrival.
Because on that day the storm did arrive.
And when it arrived, it felt like the warmth of a mid summer day in the middle of snowflake bullets and burgundy dusted love lullabies.Yours truly
