Y/N sighed, putting on their shoes, as their legs felt snug in their leg warmers. They really hate this damn county but, they had to get money somehow. Y/n put their brown overcoat on and adjusted their bow-tie.
"I literally hate thissc god forsaken county but, you do what you gotta do when you're an orphan... Ok maybe I shouldn't be joking about that.."
Y/n's machine buffered out the text,to no one in particular, they walked to the living room and spotted their messenger bag on one of the (f/c) chairs. Before they could, a announcement on the T.V started to play, Y/n raised a brow. "THE THINK PRINCIPLE." "Huh..? What the hell is that?? Why is this on my television?" Y/n thought, their posture faltering as the announcement continued to play. Eventually, they sat down on the living room couch, actually concerned on what this is about. Y/N looked at the TV, almost feeling a little hypnotized by it, but also feeling a little unsettled, they felt as if something was watching through the screen.
" We are currently receiving countless reports of an identified hostile organism that we'll refer to as 'Alternates.' "
Alternates..? What are those, Y/N rubbed their eyes, this felt like a fever dream... This felt so unreal.
"Until we have a complete understanding of the threat, it is important to stay home, lock all doors and windows, and have access to a loaded firearm or any ranged weapon at all times."
"WHAT!?"
Y/N's box blared out, they already hated this county for all the people going missing recently, but now they can't do their DAMN job? Now, this was their breaking point. They felt as if steam was coming out of their ears, they were beyond furious at this point, you. were. LIVID.
