Initial reports say she is currently in critical condition. Doctors are working hard to bring her out of the woods."

Everything had happened so fast.

No one had time to even process the information before it was too late.

Ren saw Praepailin, lying in the pool of her own blood, eyes closed, barely breathing.

Ren snapped out of the shock.

He couldn't wouldn't just stand there and look at her.

Not when he could do something about it.

Ren ran towards Thyme and Tia who held the lifeless frame of Praepailin Paramaanantra.

"Call an ambulance!" Ren screamed at no one in particular.

"P'Tia, keep her head up, don't let it fall down." he told Tia and she did so.

Ren took off his jacket and pressed it at the wound to control the bleeding.

"Hold onto this." he told Thyme as he looked for a pulse.

Ren was not going to lie... at least not to himself.

He was terrified.
