I walked out of the bathroom, my dress was still stained but I thought I would get changed before going to see him.

Lottie wasn't in the kitchen so I walked to our room peering in to see my little sister on her bed colouring in a picture she had gotten at school. I walked into the room pulling out some black tights and a long cream knitted sweater out of the wardrobe.

"What you up to, Lots?" I asked pulling off my dress and replacing it with the sweater and tights.

"Just some homework." she replied not looking up from the paper.

"Oh really?" I asked sitting down next to her on the bed looking at the drawing of some sort of viking ship.

"Yeah do you like it?" she said enthusiastically, holding up her creation.

"Haha yes, It's beautiful Lottie." I said chuckling at my optimistic sister before remembering what I needed to tell her.

"Listen, Lottie, I'm going to go out for a few hours, but I promise you, I will be home before Mum gets here, will you be ok until then?"  I asked her looking into her big blue eyes.

She nodded at me before asking with a cheeky smile "You're going to see Zeke, aren't you?"

"Y-yeah I am, but you can't tell anyone, especially Mum, take care Lottie, and if she comes home before I do stay in our room and keep the door shut."  I said my tone wavering.

"I will, I love you Grace."

"I love you too Lottie."

I walked over the train tracks and looked around, the meadow looked a lot more prettier and vibrant than it was yesterday, this was my first time actually admiring the view in all it's beauty but the same thing still spoke out to me. The lone tree that stood strong in the middle of the field.

I walked towards it, it felt more natural than yesturday I felt like I wanted to do it but as I approched the entrance I once again started second guessing myself. I shook the thoughts out of my head and poked my head around the vines.

He sat there, earphones in, lightly strumming his guitar and hummed to a unfamiliar tune. Zeke hadn't noticed me and I couldn't help but admire him. He had this confused but concentrating look on his face that was slightly covered by his brown spiked hair that had slumped to the right side of his face. He was wearing the same black skinny jeans from yesturday but now had a blue and black checkered shirt which was folded up just below his elbows and what seemed to be a white tank top underneath.

I smiled slightly at the older boy before moving out behind the drooping branches of the tree, making myself fully visible to him, but he didn't notice me though, instead he continued to strum the guitar and hum to the tune.

I coughed awkwardly making him look up with a shocked look in his eyes.

Zeke madly scrambled to his feet, practically throwing his guitar to the ground and saying things inaudible to me because of how fast it was passing through his lips, probably because I had just given him some company he wasn't expecting.

He finally stood up straight sucking in a deep breath and taking out his earphones before speaking.

"Grace, you came back."

I nodded, shuffling my feet sightly and looking down at them.

"Yeah, but if your busy I can leave." I said looking behind me.

"No, I'm glad you came, please, sit." he mentioned to the spot he was just sitting.

We sat down together just like we did yesterday, in a peaceful silence before he asked.
