Anna shumate is intersex and 17years old and in Junior year in high school, she doesn't have many friends, her only friends are Sab and dev. Anna's dad is a alcoholic and is never home, her mother works hard at her job so she can give Anna a good life, Anna has one sibling a little brother named Nate. He's 13 and has anger issues, he and Anna kinda get along.

Eva cudmore is 17 years old and in Junior year of high school too, she just moved from Canada to La, her dad died when she was 10 and her mother left her at 15, Eva has one sister Ellie who is 14 and very sweet. Eva has trust issues because of her mom, and to cope with that she smokes weed, her friends are Connor and Emma but Connor likes Eva.
