Why me?!

Ever and again I wonder,

taking in the sight of the clear blue skies,

why me?!

Why my lord?

Out of the zillion souls on the planet,

why was I chosen as Your special child?

I was definitely not deserving,

but yet why did You care to know my name?

No, I din't even mark You as #1 on my priority list,

even then why did You choose to hold my hand?

Off and on,

I used to be all unethical and blameworthy,

why did You smile brightly at me and whisper-'I forgive you' ?

Even when I fail You everyday Dear God,

why do You still love me unconditionally?

why do You still hear me when I'm calling?

why do You still catch me when I'm falling?

Why me?!

Why me my Lord?
