A Stranger To This World

The world is young... Life has just begun

The trees grow high reaching way up into the sky

Birds call... They swoop... They fall

I look to hide only as if to survive

There's danger to this far away stranger

I sit and weep... I'm all alone

I hear a call from a far

What was that... Where did it come from

I hear a new sound... A sweet sound indeed

A gentle voice soothes my fear

I look to see what it may be... but to my fear

There is no one near...
