She was not smart or pretty.
The girl, no one ever noticed.
Though, original and witty,
She found her situation hopeless.
Her only girlfriend, was always on leave,
Forcing her to be forever lonely,
But dejection never lured her to deceive.
And then, from her class, she was the only-
Girl to be selected for a dance competition,
And soon, she regretted her decision,
Though it was a chance to earn reputation,
But she couldn't do it with precision.
Her heart pounded against her chest.
She was poor in this part,
She knew, she was not the best,
But she did not let her heart, tear apart.
Her teacher adored her very much,
Who foolishly roped in a girl who wasn't smart,
She held her hands in a desperate clutch.
It was the time to master this art.
