I wake up when the breath of the sun
Kisses my face with its warmth
Telling me,“To get up it’s a new day.”
Much to learn and much to do
As I get up I kiss your face
As you feel the warmth of my kisses
As you feel the love flowing from my lips
You arise and we start our day
Filled with laughter
Filled with joy
Your flesh and my flesh
Our souls become one
As we watch the day end
The sun goes to bed
Another kiss before finally
Resting on the top of our heads
The moon slowly rises
Darkness covers the sky
And as we lay anxiously
Waiting for the sun to awake and give us
Our daily kiss with the warmth of her lips
You roll over to face me
And mouth the words “I Love You.”
As I fall asleep next to your heart
