Once everyone at the manor knew Brea had been returned safely, she had had non-stop visitors and Dale was starting to get annoyed as she looked so tired but she let them keep coming in to see her. “Brea love, please stop this, you need to rest.” Dale once again plead. “I am stronger then I look.” Brea replied just before the next vampire walked in. Two hours later, everyone had seen Brea and finally Dale could spend some much needed time with his wife, or so he though as he turned around and found Brea laying on her bed fast asleep. Dale sighed and snuggled up behind her, hoping she wouldn't mind. Brea was drifting in and out of sleep until she felt a strong hard body curl around her and then she felt at peace and let the darkness take her.

Brea woke the following night by someone shaking her, Brea slowly opened her eyes to find someone was not shaking her but the bed. She rolled over to find Dale shaking in his sleep and mumbling to himself. Brea placed a hand on his shoulder, Dale sudden sat up and grabbed her arm and looked down at her and leaned down close to her ear, “What have you done to my wife!?” He demanded with a hiss. Brea started shaking and looked up at him in disbelief as a tear ran down her face. “Dale, It's me, Brea I am your wife.” She tried to control her breathing.

Dale was having the worst dream he had ever had since the one he had had about killing Brea. He had tried to wake up but couldn't seem to get there. Then out of no where the hunter had appeared. The hunter had taken his wife and now was toying with Dale. Dale asked the hunter what he had done with his wife but what shocked Dale most was the hunter declared that he was his wife. Dale rushed the hunter and pulled him close and bit into his neck. A loud female scream brought Dale out of his dream and he looked down and in his arms was his wife, shaking and crying. Then the smell of blood hit him, he first looked around the room and then glanced down as Brea was struggling to get off the bed. She was holding her neck and then he saw the blood slowly seeping through her fingers. Dale's heart shattered into a million pieces. “God Brea, I am so sorry-” Dale started out but was interrupted by Brea. “I know Dale, it's ok, I'm fine.... it's just a scratch.” But as she was saying it Brea could feel the blackness closing in on her. Dale watched Brea start to fall to the ground, but as he tried to reach out to help her, he knew he wouldn't make it before she hit the ground.

Dale got out of the bed and ran to his wife, she was still breathing and bleeding but most importantly breathing. He quickly closed the wound on her throat and picked her up and placed her on the bed and rang for the doctor. The doctor arrived and shooed Dale from the room. When Dale turned from the door he came face to face with Mother. “Dale what happen!?” Mother asked frantic. Dale explained he was having a dream about the hunter and then he did the most horrible thing ever and had bitten Brea thinking it was the hunter. Mother had been nodding the whole time Dale had been talking. And she was relieved that it wasn't serious. Mother took Dale by the arms and looked into his eyes and saw it all play out through him. “My son it has begun, these dreams are telling you it's time to change her or you will continue to hurt her.” Mother said with a slight sigh and let go of him. “I will have everything arranged for dawn, it must be done tonight.” Mother replied as she walked away from Dale.

A short time later the doctor walked out. “Doctor, how is she?” Dale asked worried. “Why don't you go in and ask her yourself?” The doctor replied as he too walked away. “She's awake?” Dale asked. But no one was around to answer him. Dale took a deep breath and opened the door. Brea looked up and smiled as he walked in and shut the door. The wound on her neck made his stomach turn so much that he had to look away ashamed that he had done that to her. “Dale, please look at me.” Brea begged tears filling her eyes. Dale slowly turned his head and saw the tears in her eyes. He walked over to the bed and sat down and put his head in his hands. “I am so sorry love, I didn't know it was you. I thought it was the hunter.” Dale sobbed. “Dale I know. The doctor said I'm going to be fine.” Brea said blinking back the tears. Dale looked up and he was surprised to see Brea smiling. “I could have killed you.” Dale sighed deeply. “But you didn't. I'm still here and I'm not going anywhere, ever.” Brea said bring Dales face to hers, kissing him lightly. Dale pulled back and smiled. “Mother said it's time.” Was all Dale could say. Brea's smile widened. “Really! It's time to change me? Awesome, wait... why aren't you happy about it? Don't you still want me?” Brea asked worried by the sadness in Dales eyes. Dale looked up shocked at what he had just heard. “Of course I still want you, you are my mate. I just thought after what just happen, you might have changed your mind about, me, this, everything.” Dale looked down at his hands as he spoke.
