1 Week Later

Mikayla POV

"What time are we supposed to go over there?", I called out to Louis.

We were at his place, and he was in the room getting dressed for dinner. Ana had called all of us together for a 'surprise'. I wasn't sure what it could be.

"Maybe we're all getting presents", Louis said, "it's not like she got me a Christmas gift".

"We were broken up on Christmas. It was her job to not like you. Of course she wasn't going to get you a gift. But, I think we all know Ana well enough to know that she isn't calling all of us together to get us a gift".

"Wishful thinking", he said, walking out fully dressed and pecking a kiss on the nose.

"Cute scarf", I told him.

A black and red checkered scarf was wrapped around his neck.

"Thanks, babe. Harry got it for me".

"I know".

"What do you mean?"

Walking over to the chair, I picked up an identical scarf and showed it to him. Louis sighed and stifled a laugh.

"Harry got us the same scarf?"

"Looks like it. Which one of us is going to wear it?"

He pulled his hands up to his neck, and I rolled my eyes.

"Come on, Lou. I want to wear it tonight".

"Then, wear it. No one is stopping you".

"We're not going to be one of those couples that dresses alike. We'll look like the Olsen twins".

"Oh, hush. It's a scarf. If you want to be cold, be cold. But...I'm wearing the scarf".

"You can be so stubborn sometimes", I told him.

"Yet you still love me".

I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"That's very true".

He quickly kissed me and pulled a piece of hair out of my face.

"You don't have any scarves for me in our room? The closet is basically a mall".

He frowned.

"What's wrong?"

"Our room?"

Did I just say that? I scowled at the ceiling.

"Sorry. I meant to say yours".

"No, you didn't. But, I like that".

"You like what?"

He was tying my scarf on my neck.

"You called it our room. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Doubtful, but it's worth asking".

That was probably mean, but he ignored it.

"Kay, do you want to move in here?"

"Ummmm...".

"What's there to think about? Most of your clothes are here anyway. It's better to live in an actual house than an apartment".

"Don't criticize my apartment. It works fine for me".

"You still haven't answered my question, love".

Moving in was a big step. But, we had known each other for 8 months.
