The following story was . . . not exactly written for Tumblr's Original Fic Big Bang but rather mostly written during it. It was 100% written for me, and on that note, content warnings for emotional self-harm and depictions of depression. This is a recovery story, so some parts can get rough, let's just say.
Thanks to mary-is-writing and write-the-stars-and-shadows on Tumblr for betaing this for me, as well as everyone following my Tumblr (blindthewind) for supporting me every step of the way as I hammered this out. This is my first complete novella in years, and it's exciting to finally get a chance to show it to all of you, as personal as it is.
