On her first day in a new school, Melly knew that all attention would be on her, but not to this extent.
Walking through the corridors, all she could notice were piercing eyes that kept picking up on the luminous lemon dress her mom forced her to wear; although it wasn't her typical preference, she had no choice since she didn't want to make her mom sadder than she already was.

I woke up this morning strangely tired though I had slept for almost 9hours. After getting refreshed I went straight to the kitchen to have breakfast. It's been a long since my mom and I even had a conversation to even think about a possibility of her preparing something for me, but there she was holding a flare-open-necked bright green dress with a huge grin on her face. "Can you wear this for your first day in school?", She asked.
