Cyrus Laveau's life had never been perfect, but he worked with what he got.

Returning to high school after being suspended for a week, Cyrus tries to stay under the radar, but that only lasts for about a day. He just wanted everything to go back to normal. Unfortunately, normal gets thrown out the window when one of his best friends goes missing near the forest and unusual scratches rip through the metal of his car door. With guilt weighing heavily on his back, it becomes a race to see whether he and his friends can find her before she joins the other bodies at the morgue.

Amidst the hallucinations, midnight skinny- dipping and breaking and entering, Cyrus discovers parts of himself he wished would have stayed buried. The last time he checked, being a witch was not on his schedule.
