Reuniting

In the left corner, behind the filing cabinet there was a passage way. I made sure no one was around. Then I went in; I fell down on concrete floor. I said "Where am I?"
Somebody answered "You're in the dark tunnel."
I said "Who's there?"
He came out and said "Sorry to frighten you, I'm Max Staten."
"Max Staten," I said sarcastically.
"Yup that is my name," Max replied.
I almost passed out Max has been missing since 1982. I screamed "Hey Max remember Julian Winston from homicide school."
"Yah," he yelled.
"That is me," I said.
"Whatever," he replied.
"Everybody was sad when you were gone," I replied in a sad tone.
"I know, I tried to get out but I couldn't, he said.
"Yah the school---- wait what did you just say?" I asked.
"I tried to get out but I couldn't," he said.
"So you mean I'm TRAPPED down here until I die!" I screamed. 😮
