Demetri's POV

She was holding her fingers up into a gun and was humming the Mission Impossible theme song as she tiptoed through the halls in an over exaggerated manner. As deranged as she looked, she somewhat looked incredibly cute.

She was clearly enjoying this game way too much. So far, we've got eight doors which means twenty-four points but we had gotten double points for ditching the same door twice so we have twenty-seven.

I'm pretty sure we're in the lead but this girl is in it, to win it. She's gone all crazy competitive!

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" she suddenly asked in a whisper, her eyes were twinkling in excitement.

What am I thinking?

She has really nice legs. They look good in shorts.

Yeah...I'm not sure we're thinking the exact same thing.

"Uh...no." I said slowly, though it came out more as a question than a statement.

She gave me a deadpan look and flicked me as she muttered 'idiot'.

She looked so funny it was amusing. This game was so serious to her.

"Okay," she sighed "do you want to know the plan or do you want to continue laughing?" She asked angrily.

I quickly stopped laughing at her scary face. It's sad how my soul mate can scare me with one look.

Soul mate...

Crap, I should really tell her.

Maybe I should be all romantic..

Oh! I know!

I'll bake her a pie!

Does she prefer blueberries or apples?

But when should I tell her...?

And when should I bake the pie...?

Pain shot through my leg and I couldn't help but yelp.

I really, really should pay more attention to what she's saying.

Adara was fuming but then she saw me in pain and she was giggling and having the time of her life.

Wonderful.

This. Girl. Has. Issues.

The elevator opened and she was laughing so hard she didn't even realise she had taken a few steps back.

And what do you think happened?

She fell into the elevator.

I couldn't help myself, I just burst out laughing.

The love of my life is ridiculous.

I stumbled into the elevator and soon enough, we were both laughing like the retards we are.

We were both on the elevator floor, sitting next to each other and silently shaking with laughter.

Finally when we stopped laughing. I glanced at her and she was smiling at me.

"You know, I'm actually starting to like you." She said softly.

Oh wow, the girl accidentally tells me she loves me and now, she's saying she likes me.

Well, it is an improvement from 'I hate you, Demetri! You stupid faggot!'.

Yeah...much better.

And when she said that, (I know I'm going to sound like a huge ball of homo when I say this but..) my heart swelled.

"Really?" I asked in mock disbelief. "You like me. Cool." I nodded.
"I don't." I quickly added.

She gasped and feigned shock.
"You don't like me?" She asked in a very convincing British accent.

"Not the slightest bit!" I nodded, playing along.

I love you. You're my soul mate. How can I not like you.

"Well, that's just too bad." she sighed loudly.

I inched closer to her.

"I guess I'm starting to like you too now. You're not as annoying as before, and I can deal with your...like of lack of clothing. I actually really like the last part." I told her.

"You pervert!' she giggled.

I'll be the only pervert laying eyes on you.

Our faces were inches apart.

I was about to kiss her when suddenly, an ear-piercing scream echoed throughout the halls.

 A really high-pitched girl like scream.

That could be only one person.

"Zeke."  we both muttered and started running out of the elevator.

Thanks Zee! Not only do you have the worst timing in the world, but you also interrupt almost every single one of our moments.
