"I can't believe that a year ago we started dating." Austin said to me.

"Shut up." I said hitting him lightly.

"What? I can't share that I've been extremely happy for a whole year?" Austin asked.

"Three months of it wasn't happy." I pointed out.

"I have no idea what you're talking about I remember no such thing." Austin said.

He always did that. He liked to pretend like our little break never happened and we were perfect that whole time.

"Whatever you say." I said staring at our hands that were intertwined.

We were at this cute little café in North Star mall. It was a Wednesday so not many people were there. Yes, I was skipping school, sue me.

"So you excited for summer?" He asked.

"Yes! I can't wait to see Taylor Swift in concert!" I said winking at him.

"Oh, ha ha." He said smiling. I loved his smile. Even with braces his smile was perfect, and without them it was basically flawless. "What are you staring at?" He asked.

"You. How do I, this girl from the freaking woods of Maine, end up with you, Austin Mahone?" I asked.

"No, the question is how do I, the normal boy from Texas that is a soon to be pop star, end up with the most perfect girl in the world, you, Samantha Smith?" He said squeezing my hands.

"Once again, shut up." I said blushing.

----------------

Austin and I had no problems. We just went on with life and everything got better and better. He didn't go back to L.A since he really had no business there since the record company was still determining if he should go on his own tour during the summer and just open for Taylor on those few dates or just open for her to expand his fanbase. I think he should do a couple of small concerts and then open for Taylor on those dates but my opinion really doesn't matter.

My mom is trying to convince Grandma to come live with us but she doesn't want to leave the house. She said if she left the house then all the memories that were made there would be left behind too, which she doesn't want to happen.

My mom and dad and decided that I need to be homeschooled because everyone at school is going crazy over me and that I'm dating Austin. So now I get homeschooled with Austin everyday for three hours. I like it, especially our "breaks" which end up being Austin and I making out in his room like twenty minutes. The teachers gets it. She likes us so we barely have any homework.

-------------

"Sam?" Colt said as we were watching TV.

"Yeah?" I said turning to him. I was babysitting because Bridget had a ballet recital in Dallas and Colt didn't want to go.

"Where'd you get that ring?" He said pointing to the ring Austin had bought me for our one year. It had red gems on it and it had our initials etched on the inside.

"Austin gave it to me." I said.

"Are you and Austin getting married?" He asked. If had been drinking water, I would have spit it everywhere.

"No, no, no, no, no." I said shaking my head.

"Why?" He asked. What's up with all the questions?

"Because we aren't old enough." I said.

"So when you're older you will?" This kid was never going to stop!

"I don't know Colt. Maybe. Go get your trucks from upstairs to play with." I said so I could get rid of him.

------------

"So guess what Colt asked me today." I said to Austin as he put his arm around me.

"What?" He asked.

"He asked me if we were getting married." I said laughing a little.

"No way." He said laughing.

"Yeah. I was just like uhm, no." I laughed a little more.

"He's a crazy kid." Austin said without laughing.

"So what movie do you want to watch?" I asked.

"I don't care. You pick." He said smiling.
