XxX Chapter 1 XxX

“I’m innocent I tell you!” I shouted at the police man, while he was grabbing my wrists and dragging me over to the police car.

The cold winter air blew against my face, and I could already feel chills going up my spine. It was the middle of February here in New York City, and every exposed part of my skin was being bit by the frosty cold air that brushing against me.

The police man chuckled and shook his head. His grip grew tighter on me, and my wrists felt as if they had no circulation.

I let out a small whimper of pain, as he whispered in my ear softly,

“Everyone says that when they’ve been caught. You’re just another young reckless teenager.”

He opened the door towards the backseat of the police car, and threw me inside. Before I could yell at him or even spit at him, he slammed the door shut on me and stood outside taking out his phone.

“Jerk” I muffled under my breath.

I was so tempted to stick up my middle finger at him, but I really couldn’t be that disrespectful to a police man could I? But he was a jerk! He didn’t even listen to what had happened to me tonight, and how innocent I truly was!

Well, truth is, I have no idea what exactly just happened.... everything seems like a blur but I do know one thing though, that I was innocent.

My head began spinning out of nowhere. I stared in the rear view mirror and acknowledged the fact that I had  a bruise forming under my right eye.

Was I hit by someone?

“What the hell?!” I yelled loudly as I tried to escape my hands free from the cuffs that were placed on my wrists tightly so I could touch my face where the bruise had formed. I couldn’t even move myself, and my head was killing me.

I gave up and plopped back into my seat and just sat there. I couldn’t believe I was in the back of a police car, what the heck even happened?!

Did he really think I was a criminal?!

I mean, I've done some pretty stupid things in my life, but nothing for me to get sent off to jail or something!

I could only remember bits and pieces of my night. I tried to think back, but all I could remember was walking home from my date with Josh.

Josh was your stereotypical character of a jock, and yes I was dating him. He could be the biggest asshole you've ever met, he barley even calls me or even trys to communicate with me. Maybe i'm asking for too much in this relationship? I began to not care, I mean I have to be independent. It's just the way I'm suppose to be, but the school, and our reputation status is what mattered most to Josh.

I mean right after our date, he wouldn't even drive me home! He told me I should walk home, maybe loose a couple pounds to fit into my prom dress! Digusted as I was, I wanted to break up with him right on the spot. But of course, Josh smooth talks his way out, and tells me he has to get home quick, since we live on opposite sides of town.
