Jesus, my hope, my strength

In Him do I trust

My shield, my buckler, my strong tower,

In times of trials and tribulations.

He transcends human knowledge and understanding

Defying the law of gravity

when He walked on the sea.

His miracles were innumerable,

The calming of the storm,

The parting of the Red sea,

Turning water into wine,

Making manna to fall from heaven

Healing the sick,

Surely, His miracles cannot be counted.

Out of His breadth,

He created mankind,

Adam and Eve,

the first people on earth.

Are we as the Cherubims and Seraphims? No.

But yet He values us dearly

What did we do to deserve such a loving and merciful God?

Slow to anger,

His mercies endures forever.

He sent his beloved Son to die for us

To cleanse us from our sins.

What manner of God is He?

Though the world may laugh and scorn me for believing in Him,

I shall be steadfast in my faith,

I shall not succumb

I will follow Him until my last breath,

The race shall not be smooth or perfect, but with His Holy Spirit,

He shall guide me,

With Jesus I shall overcome the world.
