"We will be friend friends forever." He whispered in my ear. "Promise me Layla. Promise me you will be my friend forever."
I looked him in the eyes tears streaming down my cheeks. " I promise, no matter where I am we will be best friends." He smiled at me and raised his hand wiping the tears away from my eyes. His finger brushed against my cheek and I closed my eyes know that this would be the last time I ever felt that. " I love you." He said. "I love you to Seth." I said through my tears.
I could hear my mom yelling at me from our house. " I have to go." I said standing up.
"I don't want you to leave." Seth said grabbing my wrist stoping me from leaving.
" I have to." I said. He stood up. " I'm going to miss you." He said pulling me into him. I breathed in his scent. " I'm going to miss you to." I heard my mom scream my name again. I let go and began to walk away. "I promise I will come back." I said to him.
"Ok. I love you."
That was the last thing I heard from my best friend. My mom rushed me into the car as we set off leaving our old life behind.
