The clock was ticking. I knew that every single second was precious but still I was frozen with fear. I still regret that moment when I couldn’t move, when every single part of me was stuck to the ground. I know I will regret those life threatening five minutes for the rest of my new life….
So there I was paralyzed, some might even call it hypnotized when out of nowhere it appeared. It was its blood-curdling screech that got me out of my trance. Luckily my reflexes took over, I almost immediately reached for my dagger but I should have known that this was no ordinary monster...
I guess by now you would be expecting the same old story, where I would kill the monster and send it to Hell or even Tatarus. I'm sorry to say this but my story does not go like that. So as I pulled out my dagger, I looked up and realised that the monster had dematerialized leaving only a shimmer of light behind. I turned around expecting it to be there about to attack me, but there was nothing to be seen. To late I realised that it had appeared again exactly where it had first dissapeared......
