I walked into the jewellery shop with a purse on my right shoulder, and a bright smile on my lips, finally I am going to see my bridal jewellery today, I wasn't in favour of wearing gold jewellery on my wedding day, but I wanted to wear matching jewellery but Zaid's family have a custom that brides only wear gold jewellery and I had to follow it.

Well, I can at least do that for Zaid, My Fiancé, the person I'm going to get married to, it's an arranged marriage but he is just perfect. He is like the fictional man that came out of the books just for me, just like one of my book boyfriends.

He is smart, loving, caring, good-looking, ambitious, makes me happy, protective and loves me so much, sometimes I think he loves me even more than I do, but that's not possible because I love him so much that I can't explain even in words.

I am just not as expressive as he is but he knows that I love him very much, that's the best thing about him, he knows and understands me even me without telling him.

As I looked at the golden jewellery that the jeweller uncle had put in front of me, I was the happiest person.

"Thank you, uncle, it is just the way I wanted it to be!" I smiled at him who smiled back at me.

"I'm happy you liked it dear," he said to me and turned towards his worker, "now take care of this, pack it" he said forwarding the box towards him.

I waited as he packed it and tried to look around at the shop, Mamma had already settled the bills, I just had to pick up the jewellery today which I might add I got very late as I had to go the bridal showroom to give fittings for my walima dress which my in-laws have selected for me.

I took the bag from the worker as I made my way out of the shop and just then my phone rang, Zaid's calling my display showed his handsome face on the screen, I smiled slightly looking at the screen and picked up the call.

"Hello" I spoke while looking around for an auto.

"Hi Roo, what's up?" He asked, he called me after the nickname he gave me, his voice sounding happy which was after a few days as he seemed stressed these days and this stubborn guy refused to let me know why he was stressed, I gave him the space that he needed.

"Sky" I couldn't help but give him a lame reply as my sense of humour sucks.

"Ha ha ha" he fake laughed at me and I giggled at his reply. "Nothing, just going home" I added as I showed my hand to an auto which stopped in front of me and I gave him my address to which he nodded. I sat down in the auto and began my journey.

"Tell me how are you?" He asked me and I smiled at his question, "I'm fine, what about you?" I asked him back.

"Yeah, I'm fine" He released a sigh, "Kya he aaj Meri yaad kese aa gai Janab ko?" I couldn't help but take a jab at him as he didn't call me for the last few days.

(How did you remember me, Mr?)

"Tumhari yaad to humesha hi aati he," He said in his deep voice, I love his voice and more so when he confesses things like this, I know he misses me but I like it when he tells me that he does. "Ahaan" I replied to him looking out of the auto.

(I remember you always)
(Okay)

"I was busy that's why I couldn't call, no need to taunt me," He said to me and I bit my lower lip as I know very well I just did that. Before I could answer him back he said, "I'll just call you back Roo" and he hung up. Well, he is like this only, his work calls interruption is nothing new for us.

I shook my head at the screen looked out of the auto once again and clutched the bag tighter in my hands, after some time I noticed this was not the usual route to the home, I looked at the driver and he was looking at me from the mirror, I felt goosebumps arising on my arms and a slight shiver forming in my body.
