@spelunkadunk I'd say more, lol(I'm gonna read this book again it's been a while)
...but I found out that it's what the author thinks is the right amount for their story/characters, your vision of how you wish to portray scenes and characters should come first and if your story is catered to the readers, it might as well be a choose your own adventure type thing(unless that's what you're going for, then by all means). I've read stories that could do without mostly due to awkward storytelling or because the characters needed to be portrayed without shmex as a precursor. A good writer can do whatever it don't matter as long as It’s good with or without shmex
