It totally hasn't been over 3 months since I last updated... nope, definitely not.
Turns out school actually takes up a lot of time even if it is online. And who knew being a yearbook editor meant you actually needed to plan a whole yearbook, oh wait... okay I knew that, but I don't think I knew how time consuming planning a whole yearbook was.
So, I'm finally back with a chapter, albeit a short chapter, of Oath of Truth! I'm going to attempt to keep updating, but no promises.

Chapter 6 of Oath of Truth is posted! Jonathan finally makes his appearance, along with Ben and Martha. Tensions are high as Wyatt tries to perfectly execute his plan to convince Jonathan to help him. And, of course, Charlie has to show up late to breakfast so... that's going to be interesting XD
Also, thanks to everyone that has read Oath of Truth so far! I've been enjoying writing it so much, and all the comments always bring a smile to my face.
Chapter 5 of Oath of Truth is posted! Yvette makes her appearance and she and Wyatt have an interesting conversation. Unless you consider a conversation about marriage and murder to be normal XD
I also changed the last 400 or so words of Chapter 4. I added in a brief scene with Wyatt opening the locked drawer, so you might want to go back and read the end of that chapter because it will be important later.
I haven't been writing recently, but today I updated all the chapters of Oath of Truth with some new edits. I also posted chapter 3 about a week ago. I've been really busy recently, and I am still really busy, but I want to try to get back to a weekly update schedule.
I can't wait to finish chapter 4! I had to make a code decoder wheel thing for the chapter, so it's been taking a while to write. If anyone ever looks through my search history they are going to be so confused XD. I'm sure most people aren't looking up secret codes, what climate asparagus grows in and when its harvested, and 1750's fashion.
Chapter 2 - Looming Shadows is now posted! Wyatt meets with Christoper and hears an ominous warning, but now he has to decide what to do.
I just posted Chapter 1 of Oath of Truth! Wyatt receives an ominous warning from a childhood friend while trouble is already brewing in Brightyn with the new taxes.
I am super excited to start working on Oath of Truth, but I really do need to finish Law of Hearts first XD.
On that note, I did end up posting chapter 34 of Law of Hearts a few days ago. A letter arrives with a threat to end a life if Jackson doesn't do as he is asked, so with the help of his fellow militiamen Jackson rushes to action.

Chapter 33 - The Past and Future is now posted! With an unexpected visitor, Jackson is plunged back into the past as he relives memories from the day his parents died, while Yvette is struggling to come to terms with her new future.
On a side note, I am now officially on summer break! Hopefully I will have more time to write and edit so I can eventually finish editing the whole first draft of Law of Hearts. Plus write more of Oath of Truth, which somehow turned from a government conspiracy to a murder mystery... honestly I can never follow my original plot plans, they always change along the way XD
