Exclusive interview with Kiyoko.
- Kiyoko was inspired by Swimmer, Ariane Titmus, Micheal Phelps and Ian Thorpe
- Though a monster in freestyle and Butterfly Kiyoko is a sprinter, her stamina sucks.
-She once was libero and setter in her school's team, she stopped when she started to take swimming seriously.
- Kiyoko's motif animal is a Blue mako shark, elegant and fast, her build suits it as well.
- Her favourite food is Japanese chocolate-filled Choux
- She is bilingual, she speaks fluently in English and Japanese, also speaks French and knows enough Swedish to communicate with her brother Albert
- Her favourite tv show as a kid was H20 (the original one)
-Her favourite tv show now is Bluey, she loves watching it with Rin.
- The swimmer she has her eyes on is Rin
- Kiyoko's best subjects are art, Biology and physics. Her worst subject is Chemistry and modern and medieval History
- Kiyoko's best stroke is the butterfly and her favourite event is the one hundred metre butterfly. her worst stroke is breastroke. Absolutely slow for a swimmer of her position.
- Kiyoko likes to secretly read Rin's diary for blackmail
- Has come out Bisexual after realising she had so many crushes on female cartoon characters as a child.
- She could not go vegan if her life depended on it, she lasted three hours last time she tried in support of a friend.
- Her favourite flavour of ice cream is choc chip.
- Whenever Albert would visit she would always get excited as he was never seen that much.
-Kiyoko wanted to pursue swimming on a global stage after watching an international race of Albert, she figured if she could compete on the world stage she was able to be with Albert more.
- Like Rin who can't sleep without his favourite pillow, Kiyoko can't sleep without an eye mask unless it's brutally dark. Hates light when sleeping.
- She says that if she wasn't in swimming and had to pick another sport it would be volleyball, and a second choice would be ice-skating.
- A talent she wished she had would be skateboarding, terrified and doesn't know how Rin skateboards.
- She likes to have barbeque cook-offs with her dad to see who cooks better but sometimes doesn't have the patience for the six-hour roasting.
- the thing she likes to binge-watch most are painting videoes
- cannot take anything with chilli, even the slightest and she'll go nuts.
