As Elena examined the scene, her partner, Detective Mark Thompson, approached, his brow furrowed in concern. "What do you make of it, Elena?"

"It doesn't add up, Mark," Elena replied, her voice tinged with frustration. "Look at the placement of the body. It's too... precise. And these scratches on the rocks – they seem too deliberate, as if someone wanted to make it look like a fall."

Elena nodded, her mind already racing with possibilities. "It's starting to look that way. But why? And who would go to such lengths to cover up a murder?"

"We'll find out, Elena," Mark said, determination shining in his eyes. "We always do."

With renewed resolve, Elena set to work, scouring the area for any clues that could shed light on the victim's untimely demise. But as she delved deeper into the investigation, she couldn't shake the feeling that they were only scratching the surface of something much darker and more sinister.
