to no one's surprise, matt and anaiah are the only ones in the car on the way to mcdonald's.
nick didn't want to go because 'he's too sick of matt' and when matt asked chris, he said he was 'insane for asking him to hang out with the two of them by himself without nick.'
obviously, matt didn't make any complaints about it only being him and anaiah.
now, he's currently driving to mcdonald's with her in the passenger seat. she's got break from toronto by partynextdoor playing in the cars speakers and her legs are pulled up to her chest.
he wants to talk to her, but he's not sure what about, so he starts with the first topic he can think of. "so.. tell me," he starts, making her turn her head to him. "what was the first video you watched of ours?"
her eyebrows raise at his question and she answers easily, "the mermaids one."
"no shit, really?" he spares her a glance, knowing that means she's probably been a fan of the channel for a while. it's a lot rarer to find day one fans now, but it doesn't surprise him that she is one.
