i wake up the next morning with no memory of falling asleep, i check my phone and see a text from someone i never expected to talk to me again. Lexi.

we leave it at that and say no more, i don't know why she texted or why she randomly said she's here for me but i guess it was nice.
it's 9am and i decide to go downstairs to get some breakfast, i go to the kitchen and pour myself a bowl of cereal and sit at the table and eat.
Daelos asleep on the couch and i can hear Jessica in her office but other than that i don't think anyone else is awake.
i sit eating my food and when i'm almost done i hear footsteps coming down the stairs. of course it's the one person i did not want to run into.
Jaden: morning
Yn: morning
Jaden: what u doing
Yn: eating
Jaden: why u shitty
Yn: idk Jaden think.
Jaden: Yn can we talk about this please
Yn: well i've tried, i give up Jaden
he pulls the cereal out of the cupboard and grabs the milk and makes his breakfast, he sits down at the table and starts to eat.
i make my way toward the stairs, but as i'm starting to walk away Jessica comes out to the kitchen
Jess: just the two people i wanted to see, can we have a chat guys?
Jaden: mhm
Yn: okay
i walk back over to the table we're jessica's now sitting with Jaden and have a seat.
Jess: are you two doing alright?
Jaden: i don't know ask Yn
*he looks over to me*
Jess: Yn?
Yn: if i'm being honest no
Jess: well do you wanna chat?
Jaden: not really
Yn: no jaden i think it's a good idea, we can't sort our own problems out because we just fight maybe your mom can help
Jaden: whatever
Jess: Jaden you start what's wrong?
Jaden: i love Yn but i feel like she likes hanging out with Javon more than me
Jess: okay and Yn how do you feel about that
Yn: i've only been hanging out with Javon because Js always with Alanah
Jaden: even before i started hanging out with Alanah you and Javon were weirdly close
Yn: Javons my bestfriend and has been for years, and so are you. im close with wanna because we've been friends for so long but J i could never think of him in that way he's nothing more than a friend to me.
Jaden: okay but you say this and get mad that i have a friend who's a girl
Yn: i'm not mad that she's a girl, im annoyed that you never want to spend time with me anymore. i'm supposed to be your girlfriend
Jess: Jaden i do think that Yn has a point, you've been with Alanah a lot lately and it's fine that you have friends but you also have a girlfriend who loves you and your not putting the effort in
Jaden: i'm not putting the effort in because i feel like she wants to be with my brother
Yn: Jaden i've said 100 times i don't like javon like that and i'm certain he feels the same.
Jaden: i'm sorry if i made you feel like shit Yn
Yn: i'm sorry that you felt like i was spending more time with Javon but he was there for me when you weren't.
Jaden: i know it was wrong of me to just go off and spend all my time with my friends but i got jealous
Yn: u never have to be jealous j i love you
Jaden: i love you too Yn and i promise i'm gonna try harder and we're gonna get through this im not giving up on us
Jess: you guys come to me anytime if you need to talk okay
Yn: thank you jess
Jaden: thanks mom
Jessica gets up and goes back to her office, i sit with Jaden while he finishes his breakfast and we talk for a while.
he reaches out for my hand and kisses me. this is the happiest i've been in a long time, finally i have my favourite person back, i think.
Jaden: i really do love you Yn and i'm so sorry about everything
Yn: it's alright j i think we both just felt like we were losing each other and panicked
Jaden: we'll work this out ml.
