Since reading the cat's maw I have had this question in my head for a while. Being a self published author, how did you get the idea of a children's fantasy horror book, what was the inspiration and most important why cats? Please answer these questions as I plan to write my own children's horror story and possibly if I'm good enough get it published by a publisher. Getting the answers to these questions would help a great deal. :)

Dear Wattcats pals! Happy Summer to you all =)
I just wanted to let you know that I'll be diving DEEP into The Cat's Maw sequel this summer (FINALLY!), and hope to announce the title and share the cover with you soon. And yes, I'll definitely be posting excerpts from it here on Wattpad.

Until then — if you're 18+, and want to hear some MATURE stories from my backpacking adventures the past few years? Then please subscribe to my new show on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/podcast/buddha-and-the-slut/id1239333963?mt=2

I'll be posting a 20-30min story, Q&A, or interview every few weeks, and I think some of you might really enjoy it!

Take care, and thanks as always for the support <3
          Brooke

Hey Watt-cats — It's been a while, but I've been busy working on my next book (YAY!), as well as a really cool podcast project. The first episode of the show ('Buddha and the Slut') just launched — it's a storytelling series for MATURE listeners, and covers everything travel and relationships to culture and spirituality to lots of embarrassing stuff in between. I hope you'll check it out for free on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/buddha-and-the-slut/id1239333963

@0Atif0 Later this year. Working on it now, and want to make it perfect.
Have you given the audiobook version a listen yet? The voice and music work really brings the first book to life!

Dear Watt-cats,

Just a quick message to confirm that I'm waist-deep into Vol 2 of the Shadowland Saga (the sequel to THE CAT'S MAW), and will be posting some chapters on Wattpad early next year. Can't wait to share with you!

Also, some good news — my audiobook narrator David Kaye (Transformers, Avengers, Pixar's UP) was just awarded BEST MALE NARRATOR at the 2016 Voice Arts Awards last Sunday for his work on the incredible Cat's Maw Audio Experience!!! If you haven't heard Dave work his vocal magic yet, you gotta set your ears on this:
