Chapter 37.5 : Practice

It has been a few days since the last chapter and nishikata still can't walk completely but he can still use crutches and walk.

Nishikata : ( he was walking with his crutches) ( we have to practice today at her house..... I wonder how that will go..... Well I haven't had a haircut in like forever and suika said I needed to get a hair cut to look sharp....)

Nishikata walked to his regular hair salon but it was closed

Nishikata : ( I remember there is another salon some where close by....)

He wandered along for a bit and finally reached the different hair salon...

Nishikata : hello? Is anyone here?

A female voice from inside of the salon told him to sit on the chair in front of the mirror

Nishikata : ( he kept his crutches at his side and Sat on the chair) ( the heater was on and after walking for so much time in cold he relaxed and closed his eyes for a few minutes)

After a few minutes he felt something on his head and opened his eyes

Nishikata : wha-

Takagi : ~good morning~

Nishikata : I - uh. What?

Takagi : ( she chuckled) what brought you here nishikata?

Nishikata : I can ask you the same thing

Takagi : my mom runs this salon

Nishikata : really?

Takagi : yeah, my dad works as a manager in some company and mom works in this salon as a hobby and as secondary income.....

Nishikata : oh that's interesting...

Takagi : well why are you here?

Nishikata : to get a hair cut duh.

Takagi : wanting to look sharp when I introduce you to my parents?

Nishikata : dont make it sound like that....

Takagi : sound like what?

Nishikata : nevermind...

Takagi : do you want me to cut your hair?

Nishikata : do you even know how to cut?

Takagi : not really, my mom teaches me sometimes but not much...

Nishikata : then why'd you ask me?

Takagi : ( she chuckled) for no reason in particular....

At that moment a lady emerged from inside the salon

Takagi's mom : hey Rie! Where were you?

Takagi : I was just talking to nishikata...

Nishikata : hello Mrs Takagi..
