In the air.
(Chloe's POV)

I had set the autopilot to take us back to New York. What I was really worried about was Jamie.

After looking at his shoulder I realized that it wasn't really his shoulder that was hit, it was really more like his chest.

What concerned me even more, was that it was scary close to his heart.

And I mean scary close.

"Hey. You're gonna be okay. Alright. You're gonna be just fine." I said grabbing some more gauze.

I take back what I said earlier about him being fine. Cause I don't think he'll be fine.

Beep beep beep!

I looked over to the controls and saw something following us on the radar.

I rushed over and jumped into a seat taking the controls off autopilot.

There was something, scratch that, someone, following us. I sighed agitatedly as I pulled us back and up. "Hold on Jaime!" I yelled.

"You couldn't have told me that earlier?" I heard him mumble.

"Oh ferma la!" I exclaimed exasperated.

"Don't tell me to shut up!" I rolled my eyes at Jamie's commanded.

Always so dramatic.

I saw the jet following us in front of us now. I flicked some switches and pushed some buttons and fired at the jet.

I hit it multiple times but nothing seemed to work. Then I saw something I didn't think was possible.

The jet spun around and fired at us.

After was a blur. I lost control of the jet, rushed to grab Jamie, then we went plummeting.

Down, down, down.

All I could make sense of was someone yelling my name, smoke and fire, the need to throw up, and the smell of oil burning.

And in all that, there was only one thing running through my mind.

THERE IS NO WAY I AM ALMOST DYING IN ANOTHER PLANE CRASH AGAIN!!!!!

                     ————————

"They were in a plane crash about two hundred miles outside the city."

Ow. My everything hurts.

                       ———————

"Farmer saw something crash out in his field. Called nine-one-one right away. We met him out there."

Who's talking?

                     ————————

"There's two of 'em. The boy is coming in the helicopter. We're bringing the girl back in the ambulance."
