Akari-San woke up in a cold sweat. She had just had a terrible nightmare that her true love, Nishikata, had been ripped from her arms by a monster who had then eaten him alive. Realizing that it was in fact a nightmare, Akari-San felt a wave of relief wash over her. When she checked the clock on the desk next to her, she realized that she had awoken a mere 5 minutes before her alarm was set to go off. 'How convenient' she thought to herself, getting out of bed and heading to the shower to start getting ready for school.

Nishikata woke up in a good mood, as he had just had an amazing dream where he was the most famous person in the world and everybody he knew wanted to be him. As he stood up, his good mood carried him over to his desk where he picked up his phone and turned it on. He saw that he had a message from Takagi-San, and when he pressed on it he saw it was an image. When he opened the image, his jaw dropped.

*TIME SKIP*

Takagi-San arrived at school slightly late due to her oversleeping, but her sinister excitement squashed her worries about getting in trouble. Today was finally the day that she got her love to herself. She walked up to the door of her class and felt butterflies in her stomach. As she opened the door, she felt all the eyes in the class fall on her. After a few seconds, she realized that most of the boys, and some of the girls too, were giving her death stares. Confused as to why this was happening, she went over to Nishikata and sat down next to him. As she went to talk to him, he quickly stood up and walked away to a different seat.

She tried to sit down next to some other people, but they too ignored and walked away from her. She went over to her group of friends and asked the only one who didn't ignore her why nobody was talking to her. Her friend replied that everybody who got her message knew that she was lying and that Akari-San would never do something like that. She felt burnt, annoyed that her plan had backfired massively on her.

Akari-San felt incredibly guilty and ashamed of herself for saying those things on her favorite internet website, but felt glad that nobody was believing Takagi-San. Nishikata had been the first person to tell her that Takagi-San had sent the screenshot to everybody in their class, and Akari-San had struggled not to burst into tears, knowing that she had been exposed.

Nishikata couldn't believe that Takagi-San would be so jealous that she would make up something about Akari-San. He felt betrayed.
