This is Chloe's dream/vision that Wanda gave her. It's her past like Natasha's is. Also when it goes from italics to regular, that's when the vision fades back to the reality.

An abandoned town in England.
(Chloe's POV)

I looked around the room I was in.

It's not real! It's not real! It's not real!

But it was. At one time, it was real. That's the sad part.

I got up off the floor and walked towards the door reaching my hand out to open it, but the world started spinning and flipped.

I was in a lab, strapped down on a chair.

"This won't hurt a bit, girly." A familiar disembodied voice said.

No! I know that voice! No!

I pulled on the restraints trying to get up, but couldn't.

I felt a needle pierce my neck and I let out a scream feeling the familiar lava hot, blood boiling, heat of the serum I had been injected with so many times.

I wanted it over. Then the world flipped again.

I stood in a gray room with my arm outstretched towards the figure sitting in front of me with a bag over there head.

I felt my powers activate, and I heard the scream before the shadows even touched the person in front of me and vaporized.

The first time I took a life.

The world flipped again, and this time I ended up in a training room.

I took a punch to the face.

Looking up I saw myself. Bloody, bruised, and beat. She, or should I say I, looked back at me, and delivered another punch to the face. And another, and another, and another, but on the last punch she delivered, I caught it twisting her arm breaking it.

I got up off the floor walking towards her when everything flipped once again and I fell down a flight of stairs.

"Chloe? Chloe?!" I lifted my head off the floor as saw Clint bending over me.

"Kid? Chloe, can you hear me? Chloe?"

I hummed in response looking at him my brain not fully there, and everything was really fuzzy.

"Its the girl. She's messing with your head. Come on. We gotta get everyone out of here." He said pulling me up off the floor putting my arm over his shoulders and holding my waist helping me get my balance.

"Natasha, I could really use a lullaby right now." Tony said through the coms after we had got to mom.

"That's not gonna happen. Not for a while. The whole team is down. You got no backup here." Clint said helping mom up while he kept me steady.

"I'm calling in Veronica." Tony stated.

I sat on the floor of the jet remembering what I had had to do to survive in the past.

I wasn't proud of it. I wouldn't go around flaunting it. For more then one reason, I was ashamed of my past.
