against Itachi

I cringed as Sasuke was dragged into a genjutsu. I ran towards them only to be blocked by Kisame. I closed my eyes and clenched my fists. I jumped up onto his sword and went to kick his face however he dodged. I took the distraction to push naruto out of the way of an attack and run towards Sasuke.

However, someone stood in front of me and a wired thing replaced the wall. I looked up to see Jiraiya.

I watched and soon the two ran. Jiraiya removed the roads stomach and I ran up and caught Sasuke. I sat down and rested his head on my lap. I looked down at him as I ran my fingers through his hair. Please wake up.

Gai kicked Jiraiya in the face and I looked at them confused. He walked up to me and took Sasuke. I looked down and then where the two criminals went. I looked at Naruto and I felt my stomach clench. They were after him. They would kill him. Also, Sasuke would end up dead trying to kill his brother.

I stood up and hugged a slightly confused Naruto. He hugged me back. I gave him a reassuring smile and he returned it with a warm smile. He grabbed my hands and looked me in the eyes with determination.

"Don't you worry. I'm going to go find someone that can help Sasuke." Naruto said with determination.

I looked at him with worry. He always thought of others and never himself. I held onto his hands firmly and I looked into his eyes seriously.

"Make sure you're safe too." I signed.

He smiled brightly and grabbed his forehead protector.

"Don't worry about me. I'm Naruto Uzumaki the future Hokage. Believe it" he said.

"I do believe it." I signed.

He smiled and the two soon left. I turned around to the destroyed wall. I closed my eyes taking deep breaths. If I did this I could die. But that was a rock I was willing to take.

I jumped from the building and began tracking the two criminals. I walked through town and soon entered a forest area. I caught their trail and began walking towards them. I was soon a few meters away and I put my stealth to use. 

I watched as Itachi stopped and told Kisame to go ahead. he activated his sharigan and looked in my direction. I stayed calm and closed my eyes for a moment. If I got agitated it was the end of me. I began trying my best to hide my chakra but against the sharigan, I doubt it would do much. 

My eyes widened when Itachi appeared in front of me. I went to pull out a kunai, however, my arm stopping me. I glared and tried to get away but his grip was firm. I again met his gaze and I was taken aback by what I saw in his eyes. 

"so you're the girl my brother has a thing for." Itachi said. 

I used my free hand to get a kunai. I went to stab him but my wrist was grabbed stopping me. shit. now's my chance to save Sasuke from himself and I'm useless. I turned around trying to escape but Itachi grabbed me. He held me firmly so my back was pressed against his chest.

I got a long dagger out took a deep breath. I went to plunge the dagger into my chest and in turn stab Itachi. However, I was let go and the dagger was out of my hand. I looked ahead to see Itachi sheathing my dagger. 

"to think you would g that far to help Sasuke." Itachi mumbled. 

he walked up to my making me freeze. He handed me my dagger before turning around and walking away. I took a step towards him but he gave me a firm look warning me not to go after him. but me being stupid I didn't back down. I continued to walk forward but my body fell when someone hit the back of my neck. 

"my brother is lucky to have someone like you watching over him." Is what I thought I heard Itachi say.
