I stood up and got ready. Today I would be joining my team in training. After I got ready I went to walk out of the room but I stopped for a second thinking about how I always scared everyone because I was so quiet. It was now second nature because if I wasn't quite when I was still in that horrible place I would be punished but I don't have to be that scared now.

I smiled knowing what I would do. But I had to train first. I walked out to meet my team to see Sasuke and Naruto already training. Sakura was walking up the tree easily. I watched observing what they were doing. None of them noticed me show up as per usual but that was okay because I had time to watch. I turned to a tree and closed my eyes. I focused my chakra into my feet and walked up the tree. I slipped and felt myself fall. I closed my eyes but before I hit the ground I felt a hand wrap around my wrist.

I opened my eyes to see Sasuke standing on a branch above me and he pulled me up. He grabbed me so we hid in the leaves. Making me believe he didn't want anyone to know he helped me.

"Where did Sasuke go?" Sakura questioned.

"I don't know but more time for me to get ahead believe it." Naruto said.

I looked down and I felt a blush come to my face realising the position we were in. My back was pressed hard against Sasuke's chest as his arms wrapped tightly around my waist. His face was right by mine and I could feel his breath on the nape of my neck. We stayed there for a few more moments and each second that went by my face grew hotter. My chest tightened and my breath got caught in my throat.

I saw Kakashi look towards where we were and I swear he was smirking beneath his mask. I heard Sasuke click his tongue. He grabbed me and we jumped away to a more secluded area. He finally let go of me and I shuffled away from him completely flustered. He turned away from me slightly. I swear I saw pink on his cheeks. He walked up to a tree and began training again.

I turned to a different tree and adjusted my chakra so hopefully, it would be the right amount this time. I walked up the tree and soon made it to the top. I smiled and sat on a branch. Dad always trained me and he already began training me in chakra control. I spent this time watching Sasuke. he was determined and it warmed my heart. However, fear clouded my heart because of his strive for revenge. I don't know what it's like to lose your whole family because I never knew my family so I have never had the bonds Sasuke lost meaning I can never truly understand his pain.

I'm guessing he felt my eyes on him and he turned to look at me. I saw the shock in his eyes when he saw me on the branch. I then saw anger in his eyes confusing me. I titled my head slightly to the side not understanding why he looked so mad. Did he think I was looking down on him because I wasn't? I thought he was extremely strong and skilled. I respected him and his skill. There, of course, was room for improvement but everyone can improve.

I heard him growl as he tried harder. I shook my head. The angrier he got the more agitated and harder it was to control his chakra. However, he would learn that himself soon enough. As he continued to do it I could tell he was becoming more and more agitated. So I jumped off my tree and walked towards his. He again fell and went to do it again but I grabbed his wrist. He glared at me but I just pulled him back to give him a better look at the tree. He growled when he saw how low his marks were and went to walk away but I pulled him back.

"Are you patronising me?" He growled.

I shook my head. I wasn't trying to make him feel bad I was trying to show him how he's improved. He getting higher and higher with each try but he wasn't focusing on that he was focusing on how low he was. I gave him a gentle smile before kneeling on the ground. I began to write in the dirt because he probably didn't know sign language but he grabbed my hand so I couldn't continue.

"I asked Kakashi to teach me sign language because you're on our team and we need to be able to communicate. so I know sign language kinda well now." He mumbled and I heard embarrassment in his voice.

I smiled and looked at him.

"Don't focus on how low you are, instead notice how much you've improved since starting. With each try you get higher and higher meaning you are improving and I believe in no time you be on the top of that tree." I spelled out using sign language.

"Hn." He grunted before again trying.

I smiled brightly seeing him calm down. I sat at the base of the tree enjoying watching him train. I felt my eyes go heavy and I allowed my eyes to close.

However little did these two realise a mysterious figure watching the two kids bond grow as time went on. Weather this bond would be able to withstand the hardships to come was the real challenge.
