when she talks shes actually using sign language. so please don't get confused. I'm sorry if it is confusing. if it does get confusing please tell me and I'll try and fix it.

~~~~4 year time skip, Shizuko's pov~~~~

years passed since the incident with that man and Naruto and I have become inseparable and I was now twelve. I crawled out of bed and got ready. I brushed through my long dark brown hair. I also put my lip piercing in. I begged Ibiki to let me get one and on my ninth birthday, he let me. I know I was probably too young but I didn't really care. I threw on a red shirt and black pant. I put my checkered black and grey jumped with large squares over my shirt.

after getting ready I walked downstairs and stood next to Ibiki in the kitchen and grabbed an apple. when he saw me he slightly jumped before sighing.

"I swear you're always so quiet. I have never met someone your age that is so good at stealth." He said with a sigh.

"I learnt from the best dad." I said using sign language.

I still was mute and always would be so the people close to me learnt sign language so I could talk to them. he rolled his eyes and pushed me out of the house. I ran outside and put on my ankle high grey boots before heading to the academy and eating my apple. as I was walking to the academy I saw Naruto painting the Hokage's face. I gave a small smile as I waited on the roof of a building for him so I could run with him.

he was soon noticed and began running. when he ran past me I jumped next t him and began running with him. he looked at me and I gave him a small wave. he smiled at me and we ran as multiple ninja chased us. I grabbed Naruto's arm and pulled him into an alleyway and ran through in and exited into the street and we lost the ninja.

"thanks, Shiziko." He said with his goofy smile.

"well, I couldn't just let you get caught." I spelled out using sign language.

yes, Naruto learnt sign language so I could talk to him. we smiled at each other but soon Naruto way punched by Iruka and tied up. Iruka then glared at me obviously not impressed that I helped Naruto escape. we were dragged to the academy and gave us a lecture in front of the class.

"what do you two have to say for yourselves?" Iruka asked.

"I can't talk." I informed him.

and irk mark formed on his forehead as he sent me to my desk. I placed my hands behind my neck as I walked to my desk and sat down. I watched as Naruto continued getting lectured and we all had to do the transformation jutsu. we all lined up. I was in front of Sasuke and did the transformation jutsu in Naruto and Iruka nodded in approval and I went back to my desk. net Sasuke did it and did a perfect transformation into Iruka and he went back to his seat. however, when Naruto did it he did his sexy jutsu making me rub my temples. the amount of times I've tried to stop him from doing that jutsu is annoying.

he laughed and again was yelled at. he walked up to his seat next to me and us both didn't pay attention to the class. we completely zoned out. as I zoned out I thought about how I've changed over the years. I've become a lot more chill I'm not as nervous however when meeting new people I still get nervous. I still had nightmares on occasions but I've been working on those by having therapy sessions with Inochi who insisted on it.

it was very hard to get me angry. I have never got as angry as I did that day Naruto protected me all those years ago. I've never forgotten about it and I looked up to Naruto for that. I truly believed he would become the Hokage one day. there, of course, would be hardships to come and it wouldn't be easy but if anyone could do it Naruto could.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when lunch came. Naruto and I left to go get Ramen. we sat down and the owner smile at us.

"what would you two like?" he asked with a warm smiled.

"I'll have pork Ramen and Shiziko will have miso ramen." Naruto said.

he nodded and went onto making it. Naruto began talking about his dreams and I happily listened to him. Naruto decided to skip class and I tagged along. I already knew all the jutsu and didn't need to learn any more about them. but I was worried about Naruto because the test was tomorrow and I didn't know if he was ready. but I would stay up all night to help him train if he wanted to.
